I did an overall evaluation.
This was a basic run through on why I made the decisions I did and what I could of done to improve certains parts of my work. This also included any problems which I happened to come across, and how I got around/solved these.

Preliminary.
Before creating my main task, the music magazine. I had to do a preliminary task which was to create a school magazine.
Within this preliminary task I created a front cover. This basically gives the readers a first look on what is going to be included in the magazine.
Also I created a contents page. This included a list of things which I would include in my magazine if I was to create a whole one instead of just create a couple of pages.

Main Task.
Within my main task there is a front cover. Which gives you some form of idea about what is going to be inside my magazine and also gives you a feel on what type of music will be inside it.
I also created a contents page. This was used to show what else would be inside my magazine if I was to create a whole one instead of just a front cover, contents page and a double page article. Contents pages are there to help you find a certain information quickly.
Finally, the last thing I created for my music magazine was my double page article. I did this on two seprate pages, left hand side of my article and a right hand side of my article. This article is usually the main part of a music magazine so thats what I tried to show in mine. Also it was based on introducing a new band.
When creating my double page article I drafted out my interview before adding it into the article. So that I could play around with the wording of the answers and questions etc. And add any extra bits in if I felt was appropriate.

Research and Planning.
I did some planning and research into what I was going to be doing over the course of the next few months, my preliminary task the school magazine. And then also my music magazine.
Task One.
This task was completed on paper as the purpose of the task was to deconsruct two, double page articles and two front covers. By doing this I could see what type of detail was included within a front cover and an article. I looked into things such as why the masterhead was wrote in large, bolder font than the rest of the writing on the page. Also, I looked into why they used the images they did in the articles and what this could signify. I went into large amounts of detail about this and tried to think about why each piece of detail was there and what its point of attraction was.
Task Two.
I selected a front cover from a music magazine which already exists and attempted to copy it as close as possible. By doing this I could learn how to use the new software I got introduced too. So that when it came down to creating my actual piece I knew exactly how to use it.

Task Three.
Before creating my music magazine I had to do some research on what kind of advertisements, information, details, posters etc were found within a existing magazine. So to do this I went through and looked at two different music magazines and recorded what kind of advertisements etc were included within them. I then could use this to help me with the creation of my music magazine itself so that it would look more realistic.
Task Four.
After doing all the previous research I carried out I then did some planning. This was so that I could come up with ideas on what I could write about in my magazine as everything included within it had to be my own work therefore I could not get done for plagiarism as all of the work would of been my own. I had to do planning to come up with ideas such as bands names, album names, magazine names etc.
